Pssst!  Hi, I'm Nevada.   I have been in my foster home for a little while now learning how to be loved.  You see, I was abused and anytime a human walks toward me I think I am going to be hit so I lay as flat as I can to try to disappear or I would get so worried I would trot away.  I am learning that there are nice humans out there.  My foster mom talks really sweetly to me, feeds me delicious meals, lets me play with toys, snuggles with me on the couch and loves me like one of her own.  She says I am now ready to find a family to call my own.  A family who will talk sweet to me, not yell and will go slow to show me that they have my back and will never hurt me or let anyone hurt me again.  I love to wag my tail and to give kisses.  I sleep nicely in my crate and play with the other dogs here.  Sometimes I still get a little scared but I have come a long way.  Would you like to help me continue on my journey to becoming a confident dog?  I promise you that I will love you and be the best companion.  apply here:  www.pawsonthegroundcolorado.com/adoption-application
